Start a CampWe offer a choice of two related summer peace camp curriculums: *Making a Village is a detailed curriculum for a 5-day summer camp for teaching peace to children ages 6 to 13. It is designed for faith communities and organizations that have interest in teaching peace but may or may not have interest in an ongoing commitment to a summer program. Please go see information about Making a Village (curriculum, price and how to place an order) by clicking here. *Peace Village is an extended curriculum package for a 5-day summer peace camp for children and youth. This deep program includes ecology and rites-of-passage courses. It is intended for faith communities and organizations that are committed to an ongoing summer program. With the right to use the trademark name "Peace Village," they enter into a contractual arrangement with Peace Village Inc. (a 501c3 nonprofit). To start a Peace Village camp see this page. Note: Organizations which conduct a Making a Village camp and find that they would like to continue for an additional summer(s), will be encouraged to deepen their program by becoming a Peace Village camp.

If you're interested in launching a Peace Village Camp in your area, the best way to begin is to contact Executive Director Darren Reiley via email or call our office at 541-338-7001. You might also download and review our Program License Agreement, which covers not only all of the awkward legal stuff we'd all love to do without, but also can provide us some useful information about what kind of program you'd be interested in creating. (Remember to Save As or Print the pdf document from your browser once you've clicked it!) .
